Donate Books to the Children's Library
Good news! You don’t have to have a party to donate books to the Children’s Library. If you want to donate a book in honor of a child, parent, grandparent, teacher, or someone else special – you just need to fill out a Book Donation form. As with the Book Builder Birthday Party, a dedication label will be placed inside the front cover and a letter acknowledging the donation will be sent to the honoree.
Have a Book Builder birthday party
What a wonderful way to teach your child the importance of giving on a day normally reserved for receiving. When you have a Book Builder party, you may ask guests to make a donation to the library for the purpose of purchasing new children's books instead of bringing gifts. Click here to find out more...
Sponsor a PALS event with a personal or business sponsorship
We are always in need of monetary and in-kind donations to support the library and the events we hold for the children. Your monetary donation may be used to purchase snacks, pay performers or purchase supplies. Your in-kind donation, such as merchandise, coupons or gift certificates for services, may be used in our silent auction or as a door prize.
We solicit donations from local families and businesses. In the past, our generous sponsors have helped us with inflatables, food and drinks, money for purchasing prizes and books to be given away during the summer reading program, a stage and sound system, coupons, use of a delivery truck, a variety of retail items and services for our silent auction and more. Also, the children have benefited from donated money which was used for paying performers such as Santa Claus, storytellers, clowns, puppeteers, and a wide variety of summer reading program performers.
